This guide explains how to:

Everything is written in simple, clear steps.
PART 1 – Check if the VAT rate exists
1. Go to VAT settings
From the dashboard:
➡️ Accounting
➡️ VAT
2. Check the list
If the VAT rate you need is missing, you must create it.
PART 2 – Create a new VAT rate
1. Click New
2. Fill in the fields

Name – e.g., VAT 25% or VAT 0% Youth

Percentage – 25 or 0
-
Account number – VAT account
-
Inclusive/Exclusive:
-
Inclusive: the customer pays exactly the amount shown

Exclusive: VAT is added on top

Click Save.
PART 3 – Link the VAT rate to the membership
1. Go to the membership
➡️ Sales
➡️ Memberships
➡️ Select the membership you want to update
2. Open the Price tab
You will see:

Standard price (required for online purchases)
-
Custom prices (for individual members)
PART 4 – Close the old price
1. Find the active price
2. Click the three dots → Edit
Set Valid until = 31/12
Click Save
PART 5 – Create new age-based prices + VAT
1. Price for members over 30 years old (25% VAT)
Steps:

Click Add new price

Fill in:

Price
-
VAT: 25%
-
Inclusive/Exclusive
-
Valid from: 1/1-2026
-
Valid until: blank
-
Age from: 30
-
Age to: blank
-

Click Create
2. Price for members under 30 years old (0% VAT)
Same process, but with:

VAT: 0%
-
Age from: 0
-
Age to: 30
Click Create.
PART 6 – Important to know

You cannot have two prices covering the same age range.

The system automatically selects the correct price based on the member’s age.
-
The price list shows start date, end date, VAT rate and age range.
✔️ That’s it — your price setup now follows the new age and VAT rules.
